Content Marketing: Using Video for your Business. - What is it, how do I do it and how can I simplif

Content Marketing "What a Buzz Word" for this decade.....

I have but one word; VIDEO....

Most of us know that Google is the largest search engine in the world. But do you know who is the 2nd largest search engine in the world?.........YouTube

Yes that right it's YouTube and it's growing at speeds that in it's self is almost unbelievable. So why Video for Business?

Think about it, we are all time poor; we skim text when reading online and almost always spend less than 2 minutes on a single web page. Now enter the world of video; if we can find a relevant video on a topic and/or product that we are looking for we will almost always watch the video.

Why, because it invokes our vision and hearing as opposed to simply reading text. We tend to believe that the video has a "lets say" authoritative nature. [ Note: if possible keep your videos well under 2 minutes, if you can keep them under 1 minute even better ] as above we are all time poor and the "drop-off" rate for video after the 90 second mark starts to get very high, almost terminal.

So here is the big question, how can we maximise video content for our business?

Well the simple answer is make a "Content Distribution Marketing Plan".

Over the years I have seen several types of plans; but in saying this, recently I came across an Australian company that had an online Video that talked about having/making a plan for Video content. Best of all it was very simple to understand and had some great takeaway ideas.
